ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA – After more than two decades as a prominent video communication platform, Skype has officially closed operations today. The shutdown affects all users who utilized the free and paid subscription tiers of Skype. However, reports indicate that Skype for Business, a separate service tailored for enterprise clients, will continue to operate for the time being.
